The process was facing several months late due to constraints such as the EBOLA crisis. Today, this delay is being eliminated: the first draft of the NQP was drafted in July 2016. It is currently circulating to all stakeholders for the collection of comments before the organization of a validation national workshop planned in September 2016.

The implementation of the NQP will allow, among other things, Guinea to have a clearly defined legal and institutional framework in order to avoid conflicts of competence between quality infrastructure organizations. Similarly, the Guinean QI will better meet international requirements in support of a better competitiveness of Guinean products and services.
